I tried running the last command with:

/bin/sh ../libtool --tag CC --mode=compile /cmDevTest/Tools/gcc.3.3.2/gcc/xgcc -
B/cmDevTest/Tools/gcc.3.3.2/gcc/ -B/cmDevTest/local/powerpc-ibm-
aix5.2.0.0/bin/ -B/cmDevTest/local/powerpc-ibm-aix5.2.0.0/lib/ -

But get this error when trying to do that: 

xgcc: cannot specify -o with -c or -S and multiple compilations

I am not sure what part of the last command I would need run to generate the 
output you need.  Can you help clarify?
