[Bug c++/14318] sizeof() does too much

I finally downloaded all of Intel's C++ compiler tonight (I have a 33k modem) 
and got the same results as you.

However, Intel may also be wrong. I have looked into how Boost does things and 
they have three different implementations which work on various versions of 
compilers good or bad.

I'll try some of the alternatives and get back to you tomorrow. But if it's 
unsolvable with template trickery, we have a problem for not just me, but also 
all Boost using code :(
