[Bug c++/14000] New: Can create and use datum of a type you cannot name

Not even sure that this in fact violates the standard, but it seems intuitively unreasonable that you can have valid, usable and useful program data of a type that you cannot name. The case arose from trying to use STL collections with a reference value_type.
