The example code had to be updated to reflect our compiler having become stricter:
program main
character*80 buf1, buf2
type xyz
integer :: x(5) = 123
end type xyz
type (xyz) :: a
write(buf1,*) a%x
write(buf2,*) a
if (buf1.ne.buf2) then
print*, buf1
print*, buf2
call abort
endif
end
We now give a todo error:
[tobi@marktplatz tests]$ gfortran pr15364.f90
pr15364.f90: In function `MAIN__':
pr15364.f90:8: fatal error: gfc_todo: Not Implemented: IO of arrays in derived types
compilation terminated.
[tobi@marktplatz tests]$
