this is not exactly a gcc bug but a bug with ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/infrastructure/cctools-
528.tar.bz2 which is available on the realms of gcc (and therefore should be fixed).
When trying to build cctools-528 on i686-apple-(Open)Darwin7.2.1 I ended up with the following
error:
localhost:~/GCC/FSF/cctools-528 lars$make
.
.
.
nmedit -p ./prehack_libkld.a
seg_hack __KLD ./prehack_libkld.a -o ./static_libkld.o
make[2]: seg_hack: Command not found
make[2]: *** [libkld.a] Error 127
make[1]: *** [kld_build] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 1
localhost:~/GCC/FSF/cctools-528 lars$
I don't know what seg_hack is nor do I have it on my system. It would be good if a fixed release of
cctools could be made.
regards, Lars
