------- Additional Comments From bangerth at dealii dot org 2004-08-11 21:46 -------
Confirmed, a regression with the new parser:
g/x> /home/bangerth/bin/gcc-3.3.4-pre/bin/c++ -c x.cc
x.cc: In function `int main()':
x.cc:3: error: parse error before `bar'
g/x> /home/bangerth/bin/gcc-3.4-pre/bin/c++ -c x.cc
x.cc: In function `int main()':
x.cc:3: error: expected primary-expression before "const"
x.cc:3: error: expected `;' before "const"
We shouldn't backtrack so far if we can't parse something.
