No, the report is not just about having the wrong user, but about 
the files being unreadable altogether. 
 
Can you show us the output of 
  ls -l /usr/local/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.0/include/pthread.h 
  ls -l /usr/include/pthread.h 
and similar for the sigthread.h file?
