Confirmed with 3.5-tree-ssa 20031006.

Here's a reduced testcase:

    ~A();
};

template<typename> struct B
{
    A a;
    B(const char*, const A& = A());
};

extern template class B<char>;

void foo() { B<char> b[] = { "" }; }

for which I get
