Summary: Unnecessary inclusion of Solaris-specific header
Product: gcc
Version: 3.3.1
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: target
AssignedTo: unassigned at gcc dot gnu dot org
ReportedBy: jonm at dualitymedia dot com
CC: gcc-bugs at gcc dot gnu dot org
GCC build triplet: sparc64-*-openbsd*
GCC host triplet: sparc64-*-openbsd*
GCC target triplet: sparc64-*-openbsd*
A basic build (passing no arguments to `configure`) eventually aborts with an
error message about two undefined macros, STARTFILE_ARCH_SPEC and
LINK_ARCH_SPEC. The problem was traced to the unnecessary inclusion of
gcc/config/sparc/sol2.h in gcc/config-gcc:2409. I was using OpenBSD 3.4 to
build gcc.
