Hello,

thanks for the feedback. I think we're getting close. Would it be possible for you not to send your 
e-mails in both plain text and html, it's making this report rather long :-) Anyhow, I think we 
found the problem. The linker thinks the file is 32 bits, while it's supposed to be 64 bits. Umm, 
can you run the 'file' command on conftest.o to see what, in fact, it is? Thanks,
