I can reproduce this bug with gcc 3.3:

bash-2.04$ echo gnu.testlet.java.text.DateFormatSymbols.Test | ./SimpleTestHarness
FAIL: gnu.testlet.java.text.DateFormatSymbols.Test: invalid locale (number 1)
1 of 9 tests failed
