Hello,

I can confirm that with gcc 3.2.3, 3.3 branch and mainline (20030512), this problem still occurs 
(on a darwin x hppa1.1-hpux10.20 cross compiler). There is still no .import directive for the 
symbol in question. If this prevents building on hp-ux, shouldn't its priority be upgraded? Thanks,
