 - I was adding myself to the CC list (which worked)
 - this PR is unassigned

bugzilla was rather unhappy when I tried adding a comment to PR 9937. I had a similar problem with another PR. Both seem to have been with PRs that were assigned. Don't know if that makes a difference.
