debug/10156: g++ 3.2 fails to emit debug location info for a local variable inside a class constructor

I am facing a similar problem with gcc 3.2.3:
 1) Sometime the debugger (gdb 5.3) does not stop exactly on a breakpoint but
a few line after.
 2) Almost all of the local variables of a function are not visible (saying:
No symbol "foo" in current context).

Having seen that this bug is persistent in gcc versions 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3
and still unassigned, it would help to me a lot if somebody can indicate a
version of gcc which is known to be free of it.

In fact this bug is very critical to me and is creating a lot of problems with
the development/debugging of my code.

Thanks in advance
