libgcj/9696: read fail on gij or compiled when object contains user objects

Will there be any attention given to this issue soon? I am having to rewrite
my application for the second time to work around this issue. The read from
file also fails if it contains an empty Vector. I need to store several
Object to disk, but cannot because of this bug.
