c++/6825: [SunOS 4.1.4] gcc 3.1 fails to build

i can try building gcc 3.2.2.  i have got a machine which i am making available
to people who would like to try to build, so if you want access to it please
let me know.

IIRC the C part builds ok, but the c++ compiler doesn't.  i haven't tried to
build the other parts (objc, java or g77).
