Synopsis: [sparc-solaris]make bootstrap fails on configure-target-libiberty
State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback
State-Changed-By: bangerth
State-Changed-When: Fri Mar 7 00:44:12 2003
State-Changed-Why:
Did Solaris 7 have support for 64bit executables? If not,
then one shouldn't be surprised about the message you
get, though we should be surprised that our configury tries
to execute such programs. What happens if you disable
64bit things by giving --disable-multilib to the configure
line?
Also, in your original report, you write that you executed
the configure script as "./configure ...". The installation
instructions recommend using a parallel directory. Could
you possibly try this?
Thanks
Wolfgang
