minor problems building gcc-3.3 on Solaris 9

Pretty generic, I think.  Except that I'm not using SunWorkshop.  :-)

Where would you normally expect gcc to find the prototype for ioctl()?  I looked 
around a a bit and didn't see it anywhere else...
