Summary: GCC doesn't generate
DW_TAG_imported_{module,declaration} entries
Product: gcc
Version: 3.4
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: debug
AssignedTo: unassigned@gcc.gnu.org
ReportedBy: carlton@bactrian.org
CC: gcc-bugs@gcc.gnu.org
GCC doesn't generate DW_TAG_imported_{module,declaration} entries when
compiling C++ files with using directives, using declarations, and namespace
aliases. This isn't as important as the fact that it doesn't generate
DW_TAG_namespace entries, but it's still sub-optimal.
Verified by compiling programs with GCC 3.2.3 and by getting the current
mainline sources from CVS and examining dwarf2out.c for "DW_TAG_imported".
