Hello David & Dara,

I configured with

/software/gcc-3.3-obj> /software/gcc-3.3/configure --with-as=/usr/bin/as --with-ld=/usr/bin/ld

and it worked well.

How would you classify this problem? Is it a bug in gcc? Or a bug in binutils? Or just a feature?
