fabs(0.0) < 0 optimization not working on gcc-3.3 on sh4?

I'm just now getting into testing gcc cross-compilers.
I have a shiny new build-and-test script (http://kegel.com/crosstool),
and am trying to analyze the failures it finds.

I ran gcc-3.3's c-torture/execute test suite last night
on sh4, and the only failures were:

Looks like fabs(0.0) < 0 isn't recognized by the optimizer
as false at compile time on sh4...

anyone run into this before?  I guess it's not a horrible problem,
but I'm curious whether it's been fixed, and where one goes
to ask about things like this.  There's nothing in bugzilla;
should I file a bug there?
