------- Additional Comments From dhazeghi at yahoo dot com 2003-07-09 14:46 -------
With -j1 (and without patch), it dies after building cc1 (on crtinit.o):

mkinstalldirs='/bin/sh ../../gcc/gcc/mkinstalldirs' \
  /bin/sh mklibgcc > tmp-libgcc.mk
mv tmp-libgcc.mk libgcc.mk
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `crtinit.o', needed by `stmp-multilib'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/dara/mainline/objdir/gcc'
make: *** [all-gcc] Error 2

With -j2 (and without patch, it dies long before then, after building libiberty:
TARGET_CPU_DEFAULT="" \
HEADERS="ansidecl.h " DEFINES="" \
/bin/sh ../../gcc/gcc/mkconfig.sh tconfig.h
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `crtinit.o', needed by `stmp-multilib'. Stop.
make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

The actual error was the same though. Nathaniel, with your patch I can do a full (c-language only
build) including crtinit.o and crtfini.o. Thanks!
