Please apply the patch to close c/9177

Somebody with CVS access, please look at c/9177 and apply the
included patch to close the bug.

The bug report includes a detailed explanation of the problem
and a one line patch. All you have to do is commit it to CVS.

I submitted and resubmitted this patch to gcc-patches two months
ago and still have not received any replies. If I don't receive
anything after this email I guess I'll start emailing random
gcc developers....
