ICE in mainline when compiling linux kernel on i386

While compiling the 2.5.56 linux kernel on i386-linux.
Compile the attached file with
gcc -x c -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -march=athlon
kernel/signal.c: In function `__dequeue_signal':
kernel/signal.c:466: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault

with preprocessed source if appropriate.
