Right, although it's not acceptable until 3.5. I started working on a
modified fix to the backend yesterday. Although the patch which caused
the regression has been reverted, it exposed a problem in the handling
of indexed stores. The PA backend currently can't handle the reloads
necessary for unscaled indexed addresses when reload chooses a general
register for the source operand for the store. There doesn't appear
anything that prevents the problem from occuring in other circumstances,
so I'm hoping that I will have a tested fix in a day or so.
