the make option LANGUAGES has not been support for a long time do not use it.
Also the ChangeLog reference did not cause this as it was linking to libc before, the patch just
made -lc an variable.
Also crossing requires you to have the headers and the libraries from the OS for the cross (you can
create them though if you want the compiler).
