bootstrap/10303: [sparc] Build process for gcc-3.2.2 failed on install

Just to be sure, sure, sure :-) GNU make of course?

I understand why I can't reproduce the problem. Here is what I have:

gax% uname -a
SunOS gax 5.8 Generic_108528-16 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-2
gax% pwd
/opt/build/eric/gcc-3_2-branch/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/sparcv9/libstdc++-v3/include
gax% grep "VPATH =" Makefile
VPATH = ../../../../src/libstdc++-v3/include
gax% grep "INSTALL =" Makefile
INSTALL = /bin/ksh /opt/build/eric/gcc-3_2-branch/src/install-sh -c


What is the position of the build directory with regard to that of the source 
directory?
