Hi folks,
This is the second release of gcc that has failed to run correctly on Sun's 2.6 Solaris on sparc.
Last time gcc 3.1 core dumped on use of inserter or extractors - ie hello_world.cpp
would not run
This time an empty main program core dumps prior to main!!! This is a c++ problem
the c compiler is ok.
I have submitted a problem report and would really appreciate if some kind soul would
pick it up and fix the runtime. I was able to sort the prior issue but this one is beyond me.
BTW is there any reason 2.6 Solaris is not part of the normal release testing?
thanks
Nick
