bootstrap/5811: [i386-unknown-freebsd4.5] make compare fails when built with BSD make

First approach was to build a complete gcc suite, but the build fails in 
libjava (see trace below).

Second test was to only build c/c++ (--enable-languages=c,c++) front ends. 
This test passed (make compare didn't fail).

I'll try to build a complete gcc suite with a snapshot and get back to you.
