liveness problem

Hi,
I am running into crash at cfg-branch in compiling twolf. What happends is that basic block
containing clobber of return value gets elliminated post reload making return value incorrectly
live.  The last basic block contains instruction clobbering return value as side effect
and liveness sets the REG_DEAD note on it and marks return value as live at the end
of basic block.  THis makes verify_life_info_at_end unhappy.

Any ideas what to do with this scenario?
