optimization/6070: gcc-3.0.1 crashes for gtk-2.0...: gcc-3.0.4 is ok

finally managed to get 3.0.4 running:
gtk-2.0.0 compiles ok now also with -O3
( --> bug 6070 can be cancelled)

(and bug 5888/gcc-3.0.4 is definitly not an optimizer bug:
occurs also with options including -O2 instead of -O3;
bootstrap of 3.0.4 seems to work only with the default flags
and no other flags; 3.0.1 didn't have that problem)
