Hi,

A clarification of my last annotation to this PR.

I cannot reproduce this ICE with gcc version 3.1 20020302 (prerelease)
under Linux and this preprocessed source.

However, the submitter reported difficulties compiling this
preprocessed source  with the latest
gcc 3.1 snapshots under Cygwin.
