There's are two similar same fixes for that (2002-03-31 savannah
or 2002-04-14 sourceware); update to either CVS.  Or pick
patches for your own version; lib/remote.exp for this bug if
your board needs_status_wrapper.  (If it doesn't, it's a similar
bug elsewhere, methinks.)
