When I was compiling my Linux 2.4.16 kernel, gcc crashed

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux-2.4.16/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wno-trigraphs -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer
-fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2
-march=i686 -malign-functions=4 -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -c md.c
md.c: In function `md_ioctl':

I hope that all informations you need are here.
I cannot reproduce this error. It's very strange.

Best regards.
