This is causing builds of gcc to fail ("make bootstrap")
(using the AIX xlc compiler) with the error

"varasm.c", line 923.5: 1506-068 (S) Operation between types "void*" and "int" is not allowed.

On AIX 4.3 system using xlc, try to build the gcc package.

Incorrect code in file gcc/config/rs6000/aix.h
The macro UNIQUE_SECTION has the line

  string = alloca (len) + 1;

This should probably be:

  string = alloca (len+1);
