suggestion: release .bz2 source packages

Hello,

What about releasing source packages compressed by bzip2?

        * A bz2 source package would be easier to download, especially
for people with slow or time-limited internet connections. For
example, gcc-3.2.tar.bz2 is 24% smaller (20523950 bytes) than
gcc-3.2.tar.gz (26963731 bytes). As far as I am concerned, I
would have saved 20-30 minutes of download time.
        * bzip2 is now widespread and very easy to use as it has the
          same interface as gzip.
        * Several GNU packages already deliver both .gz and .bz2 source
packages: autoconf, automake, binutils, bison, clisp,
ghostscript, gnunet, grep, gtypist, sather, texutils.

Cheers,

	Michael.
