3.1 bootstrap failure on hppa64-hpux--gcj.texi:285: @item found outside of an insertion block

The following error occurs under hppa64-hp-hpux11.00 in stage1 with todays
cvs source for the 3.1 branch:

gcj.texi:285: @item found outside of an insertion block.
makeinfo: Removing output file `gcj.info' due to errors; use --force to preserve.
make[2]: *** [../../gcc/gcc/java/gcj.info] Error 2

Makeinfo is 4.1.
