Problems compiling GCC_core 295.2 on CygWin

Hi im a rookie

i've running cygwin under win95

starting the gcc with the following command in the <obj_dir>:
<src_dir>/configure target

causes the following messages:
unknown@TOWER_1 /usr/gcc_obj
$ ../gcc_src/configure target
sed: not found
sed: not found
dirname: not found
*** cannot find config.sub.

It seems that there are some environmentsettings missing.

Do u have any idea?
