CLIX is an old SVR3.2 clone, with the old 14-character filename limit on its native filing system. The problem does not affect NFS, giving one workaround.

The two files unwind-dw2-fde.c and unwind-dw2-fde.h, have been added to the compiler since 2.95.3, and now cause the bootstrap to fail (as one overwrites the other after extraction from the tarfile, and dependencies and #include's no longer function as desired).

There may be other files that don't affect my specific host and target that could cause this problem.

Try and build any flavour of GCC on any platform with a 14-character filename length.

Would like names of these (and any other or future) files shortened to fit within the 14-character limit of older Unixen. It seems short-sighted to prevent this build because of this problem - 14 characters is not *too* onerous a problem IMHO.
