c++/4215: gcc 3.0.1 fails tree check on wxwindows quantize.cpp

I built the latest version from CVS at the time and reproduced the
problem, diagnosed it, and made a fix.  I couldn't update the bug, so
I submitted a new bug 4259 with the diagnosis and fix.  Please close
bug 4215 and look at bug 4259 instead.

Does it make sense to give me gnats access so I can update my own
bugs?
