Sorry to reply to my own message, but perhaps this is helpful.
The linker is called with these commands:
/data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc/collect2 -V -m elf64_sparc -Y P,/usr/lib/sparcv9 \
-Qy -o t /data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc/sparcv9/crt1.o \
/data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc/sparcv9/crti.o /usr/lib/sparcv9/values-Xa.o \
/data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc/sparcv9/crtbegin.o \
-L/data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc/sparcv9 -L/data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc \
-L/home/kahlert/GCC/sparc-sun-solaris2.7/bin \
-L/home/kahlert/GCC/sparc-sun-solaris2.7/lib -L/usr/ccs/bin/sparcv9 \
-L/usr/ccs/bin -L/usr/ccs/lib/sparcv9 -L/usr/ccs/lib -L/lib/sparcv9 \
-L/usr/lib/sparcv9 /var/tmp//ccW8I5wx.o -lgcc -lc -lgcc \
/data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc/sparcv9/crtend.o \
/data/lorentz_3/kahlert/obj/gcc/sparcv9/crtn.o
/usr/lib/libdl.so.1: could not read symbols: Invalid operation
GNU ld version 2.11.2 (with BFD 2.11.2)
Supported emulations:
elf32_sparc
elf64_sparc
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Is this a binutils problem?
Thanks, Martin.
