Hi,

a smaller testcase for this bug is:

template <class T> struct A {};

struct B
{
    static A<int> a;
    void f() { a; }
};

A<int> B::a = A<int>();

This crashes on mips-sgi-irix6.5 with gcc 3.0.x.
The bug is probably target dependent, because I couldn't reproduce it
under i686-pc-linux-gnu.
