Internal compiler Error while building gcc 2.95.3 on linux

        GCC 2.95.3 gave error while building (make
bootstrap) on Linux (OS Rel - 2.2.16 -22 )

Environment 
Linux OS Rel – 2.2.16-22 

Description 
To configure I used the following options .

configure --prefix='/home/jsathya/new'
--exec-prefix='/home/jsathya/new' 
--host="i686-pc-linux-gnulibc1"
--srcdir='/home/jsathya/srcdir’

While using ‘make bootstrap’ for building I
encountered the following errors
