FreeBSD Fortran Failure

That's a good hint.

Anyhow, that part seems to be going OK.  When the `rewind 90' line is
executed, we get to t_runc, and everything goes smoothly.  The
ftruncate calls returns 0, and errno is also zero at this point.

Any other ideas?
