When I try to build gcc 2.7.2.3 with gcc-3.0, I get the following error:

cc -c -DIN_GCC -O -I. -I.. -I../config ../genrecog.c
../genrecog.c:1355:1: directives may not be used inside a macro argument
../genrecog.c:1355:1: unterminated argument list invoking macro "printf"
../genrecog.c: In function `write_tree_1':
../genrecog.c:1356: parse error before string constant
