Mixed success building gcc-2.95.3.test2

Yes.

Both srcdir and objdir file systems have Gigabytes of free space.

I don't think something like that could have happened, because I did
my different builds on different platforms simultaneously using the
_same_ srcdir.  Only hpux failed.
