Headers like Xlib.h most certainly shouldn't be included as C++ headers,
in my opinion:

/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xlib.h:3754: ISO C++ forbids declaration of
   `XSetDashes' with no type
/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xlib.h:3762: ISO C++ forbids declaration of
   `XSetFillRule' with no type
/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xlib.h:3770: ISO C++ forbids declaration of
   `XSetFillStyle' with no type
/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xlib.h:3778: ISO C++ forbids declaration of `XSetFont'
   with no type
/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xlib.h:3786: ISO C++ forbids declaration of
   `XSetFontPath' with no type
/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xlib.h:3794: ISO C++ forbids declaration of
   `XSetForeground' with no type
/usr/openwin/include/X11/Xlib.h:3802: ISO C++ forbids declaration of
   `XSetFunction' with no type

Tested with the current mainline CVS sources on sparc-sun-solaris2.8.
