linux mandrake 6.2
>Description:
Im running a Linux Mandrake distribution on a pentium II 400
Im configuring gcc-2.95.2.
This is my problem.
-I'm in /usr/gcc (where I want to set it up to).
-I typed /usr/gcc-2.95.2/configure (source directory)
to configure gcc.
Message:
Config.guess failed to determine the host type.
You may need to specify one.
-I tried /usr/gcc-2.95.2/configure --host=i686-*-linux*
Message:
Created "Makefile" in /usr/gcc
/usr/gcc-2.95.2/configure: cc: command not found
*** The command 'cc -o conftest -g confest.c' failed.
*** You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler.
How will i do this. Thanks.
