hpux 11.11 build

To the best of my knowledge we don't currently support hpux11.11 -- HP
made more gratutious changes to their header files which require some
tweaking to GCC to keep it working.

Unfortunately, I do not have access to an hpux11.11 system, so I don't
know precisely what needs to be changed to support it.
