How can I crosscompile the Xfree86 3.3.6 at i386 host with target is Mips

How can I crosscompile the Xfree86 3.3.6 at i386 
host with target is Mips.
My system is RedHat 6.0 ang compiler is egcs 
1.x.
 
How can I build a multi target gcc version,I 
have a version for I386 ang a gcc for Mips.
when I compile the X, imake must be local host 
code ,or it doesn't run at local machine to produce the Makefile for next 
compiling. After this step, I need a another version gcc for crosscompile 
the Mips target code.which should be a crosscompile version.
Now my question is I can't get the two version 
at one time.
